Not related to boxing, but do Italians consider Leo Messi Italian?

No, Messi not because his parents wasn't born in Italy, and Leo spoke spanish with his family when he was kid at home... unlike those I mentioned, they spoke, ate an had italian traditions. They were sons of immigrants, it's different.

Yeah I ask coz you consider Marciano Italian. So I guess as a general rule (for most countries I guess) its all dependent on how many generations away from the home country one is before you can claim one as your own. Genetically speaking though, Messi looks more Euro than Latin.

There was a chinese boxer that i was trying to work with to bring over. He had over 100 amateur fights but he's like 31 years old. After his amateur career he settled for being a coach because it was easy fast money. He had good speed, good power, but a little reckless. Fought a little like rj from videos i saw but more reckless. Thats a softcore taiwanese porn star called hsu chi. Check out sex and zen. She was also in transporter.

Boxing is still very new there. Amateur program didnt start until 1986 when ali vsited there. And yeah there is a bias towards martial arts. They think kung fu or wushu will beat a boxer. If they only knew. Everytime i tell my friends or relatives im a boxing fan they jus look at me kind of strange. The thing is in the 2008 olympics the chinese boxing team did quite well. You also have understand most boxers in china are minority ethnic groups and not han ppl which is the majority of china. The minority races and han ppl often dont get along so, will they really support a fighter whose chinese by nationality but not han ppl like most of china?
