Martinez is much faster than Cotto, can punch hard, speed is power, so even if Martinez is somewhat injured, he will still knock Cotto out.

I don't understand why everyone is completely disregarding Cotto in this fight simply because of the weight. Martinez hasn't looked good in his recent fight and is clearly on the downside of his career. Cotto has a very good chance in this fight.

I think the fight could be competitive, will want to see it, it would be an upset if Cotto were to win, but while the fight lasts it should be a good one. If Martinez were to beat Cotto, then he will fight Golovkin next, thus according to Martinez.

Cotto is a better fighter than Chavez or Murray, and they took Sergio the distance and were knocking him around the ring like a rag doll. The size difference won't be much either, since Cotto and Sergio will weigh about the same on fight night. This will be a very competitive fight.

Cotto should be competitive in this one.

Who have you lost big on? Serious question, not trying to be a jerk.

I still think Cotto-Canelo will happen , regardless of the outcome.

If this fight would have been done three years ago Cotto would came out of the ring in a stretcher. If Martinez has anything left in the tank I expect that he will KO Cotto early.

If he is done Cotto can still perform a Murray/Clottey wwaitig for Martinez to break his hand again :)

I'm a Martinez fan but why the hell would anyone want Cotto be "KO'd brutally into retirement"?. The man brings the most entertaining fights and always excites in the ring. Even his next fight with Martinez is easily worth tuning in and paying for.
