The time is slowly coming upon us - UFC 128: Shogun vs Jones

I cant wait for this fight, I hope Rua is 100% & does not take Jones lightly, this fight will be fascinating & will tell us a LOT about the immediate future of the LHW division.

Will be cheering for Jones. He can definitely win. However, I think Shogun might submit him.

 

Gonna be an epic fight! Either Jones swarms him like he does everyone else - or Shogun chops him to pieces in a bloody encounter.

 

5 rds is a long time to survive a 100% Shogun, even if you are the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ (according to some :rofl)

 

WAR BONES! I love me some Shogun and he is a great champion but im rooting for Jones.

 

Will he be 100%, though?

 

Bones lacks the big fight and 5 round experience and he is being thrown into the most important fight of his life just a few weeks after his last victory which was already a step up for him.

If Jones can put it all together on the night I think he'll dominate but if he chokes then it could be an upset.

 

Bones easy. Takedown followed by elbows. Thats it really.

 

I don't know about easy but Jones has been beating up good fighters like they were children, he has destroyed his comp while hardly taking a shot in return. I don't know if Shogun can stop his TD's and brutal gnp.

I think jones takes this.

 

I mean I can make it complicated but it is what it is. Shogun can be taken down relatively easy. His BJJ game is average, his best move is to turtle and hope for a knee bar. Jones took a wrestling stud Bader down like he was a poster child for world vision. Its biology, its physics..basic science really.
