No. Not even close. Shogun has excellent BJJ. Problem is his knee's are shot to ****. I don't think his BJJ will be a major factor though when he's eating elbows from guard.

I hope Shogun is 100%. He already has losses to Coleman and Griffin and Machida. For one reason or another, all three should not have occurred but such is the fight game.

I think Bones is going to win, on a gut feeling and due to his previous performences and Shoguns dodgy knee's.

Shogun could just go in and blast time out, though.

Shogun could have had bionic knees and still the same outcome.
Takedown - Bones one of the best history, Shogun easy to takedown.
Elbows from top - Bones the best in history, Shoguns BJJ, barely above average, submitted how many fighters again? And hes been on guard a few times.

Hows his JJ excellent? Because it took a bit long for Babalu to submit him?:huh He turtles and he rolls, thats all he does. His game is aggresion ala Wand with abit more power and explosion.

You dont need submissions to have good bjj his sweeps reversals and ability to get back up quick are great IMO

+ you dont need to have great BJJ and loads of subs on your record when your knocking mother****ers out either.
I hope Shogun's knees arent an issue in this fight but the signs arent good and Jones isnt the best 'come back' fight. But we'll see

    I think Jones takes this.

I know Jones opened as a favourite; does anyone know if there has been any significant shift in the odds since then?

IMO he shouldnt have lost that decision to Machida...IMO that was bad decision by the judges...He did enough to earn that decision against Machida.

I agree, I hope he's 100% too because JJ is gonna be ready...and as much as I'm pulling for Jones..I think with the experience and the strikes of Shogun, I dont see JJ winning this...Just cant wait for the fight...So many questions that needs to be answered.

This a joke? Shogun's a black belt in BJJ. He's competed in the Mundials. Did he turtle and roll when he knee barred the **** out of Kevin Randleman?
