The time is slowly coming upon us - UFC 128: Shogun vs Jones

It's hard defending the title, let alone after another knee surgery and against someone as rangy, dynamic, and explosive as Jones.

Let's not forget, Shogun hurt is knee this last time defending a takedown from Machida, it's possible he could hurt himself all over again in the middle of the fight. I think Jones will be too much for Shogun who is coming off another surgery and layoff. Just a hunch, and I'm expecting the Shogun that we all know and love to show up.

I see Jones hitting his stride in rounds 3-5 in a competitive bout.

 

I don't think the Pride version of Rua exists anymore. The reason why it seems like the "old" Rua is back is because Machida & Chuck wanted to keep it standing. If an ancient Coleman could make Shogun look shot, Bones could make it really ugly.

If the odds are decent, I'll probably drop some change on it.

 

Excited for this fight but i think shogun will beat jon jones at this stage.

I think we havent seen nearly enough of jones to make a judgement of how well he will do in the later rounds, the pressure of the bigger event and the striking of rua.
