Pac himself admitted that the Bradley that faced him a few hours ago was a much better version of the Bradley whom he toyed with years ago. My hats off to him still for making it a competition. I enjoyed it while it lasted.
I have so much respect for Timothy Bradley, the man has fought so many quality big name fighters, its ridiculous. Not even always popular, pay-day earning fighters, but fighters ranked highly by boxing experts and nobody outside hardcore fans know about. If there was a 140/147 lb version of Winky Wright in todays era, and Bradley would only make $50 bucks fighting him, while at the same time risk a high probability of losing, Bradley would still take it in a heart beat. He is about proving to himself that he is the best in the world. The man shys away from no challenge. Seriously who else fights Nate Campbell, knockout puncher Kendall Holt, Junior Witter, undefeated Lamont Peterson, Undefeated Luis Carlos Abregu, undefeated Devon Alexander (who was seen as his equal at the time), moves up, takes on the top rated/2nd top rated fighter in boxing in Manny Pacquiao? The goes balls to wall against an undefeated Ruslan Provodnikov, who turns out to be the new monster in the division? Then when Pacquaio gets knocked out in a scary fashion by Juan Manuel Marquez, takes on that mother****er even when most people thought Marquez would do the same to him? Then after Pacquiao has a solid comeback victory, Tim Bradley could've run away with his controversial victory over the Pac-Man. Could've been gotten old and told people forever, "I was the first to end Manny's 7 year winning streak!" But no, the man took on the Pac-Man AGAIN, even though he was lucky to be given a gift the first time around. What happens, he gets battered, but shows his chin and courage and heart throughout all 12 rounds. Goddamn, what a fighter. The closest thing we have to Evander Holyfield today. Now he's gonna get **** all over the boards by everyone who dickrides undefeated fighters. Because for them, its all about taking the path of least resistance and holding onto your precious "0". Timothy Bradley, I salute you :thumbsup
