:thumbsup:thumbsup Suzie Q knows his FACTS.

Briggs super-duper Shot, GASSED, no guard or any Defense at all - VITLAY whacked him on teh chin with hundreds of clean punches And Briggs only hurt like 2 times in 12 ROUNDZ. :rofl:rofl

You wouldn't believe he was the 77th ranked HW on boxrec the way some of these idiots are going on, would you :rofl

I've said all along that VITLAY has over-rated power, the last few fights have proven that.

Briggs has not been stopped in years. He has a huge head and neck, and for this decade has taken shots well. With a better corner or a better ref, it would have been a TKO. The price Briggs had to pay was a fractured face and a nights stay in the hospital. Briggs won't be the same after this beating. He's " ruined "

Neither Ibragimov, Mercer, or Liachovich came close to hurting Briggs. While Vitali isn't the one shot KO artists his brother is, he can clearly hit hard. Sorry Q, Vitali is not on decline. He's still going strong, and easily has 2-3 more fights at the level we saw last night. If you to witness a team on the decline, check out the New England Patriots.

What exactly was the best of boxing? We know the "worst" was Briggs being allowed to suffer such punishment, but the best? It was a shot, undeserving challenger being beaten pillar to post by a guy he has no business being in the ring with. It wasn't a significant fight.

I was referring to Briggs will and spirt to last the distance. He could have quit, or found a place to fall. But he pressed on under tough circumstances, badly beaten, and out classed.

Clearly Vitali has no punching power, Briggs sustained those injuries in a car accident after the fight.

    Care to revise this statement?

New England Patriots, despite having the 3rd youngest team in the NFL, and despite being in a "Rebuilding" year, are now 4-1 and one of the best teams in the NFL. They just knocked off the # 1 team in the NFL, the Baltimore Ravens.

Better Yet, the patriots in 2011 have two first round draft picks, two 2nd round picks, and 2 3rd round picks. Yet they are in decline?

Face it, Patriots are very young team right now who will only improve in the next few years with all the draft picks they have and young bucks on defense getting more experience. Also, Bill Belichick and Tom Brady are not going anywhere anytime soon either. A good 5 years left in them. I cannot wait until the patriots draft AJ Green WR with the Oakland Raiders top 5 pick next year! Thanks Oakland!

Here is a list of our young starters

Devin McCourty: Age 22 1st round draft pick

Aaron Hernandez: Age 20 4th round draft pick

Rob Gronkowski- Age 23 2nd round draft pick

Brandon Spikes: Age 22 2nd round draft pick

Sebastian Vollmer: Age 26 2nd round draft pick

Jerod Mayo: Age 24 1st round draft pick

Patrick Chung: Age 23 2nd round draft pick

Brandon Merriweather: Age 26 1st round draft pick

Brandon Deadrick: Age 23 7th round draft pick

Ron Brace: Age 24 2nd round draft pick

Jermaine Cunningham: Age 22 2nd round draft pick

Brandon Tate: 23 years old 3rd round draft pick

Not my point. Losing Moss will criplie their deep passing attack. Who's running the ball these days? Some guy who was cut from the Jets?

New England did not replace a tons of guys on defense...even the lowly Buffalo Bills scored a ton of points on them. Ever team has tons of young players fans can point to as the answer. It will take 2-3 years to see if they are the real deal or not. This team will not make the super bowl, and I am willing to wager you on that. The window has closed. They are in decline.

This terrible beating Briggs suffered is not new to heavyweightrs. in 1934 Max Baer floored giant Primo Carnera 11 times in 11 rounds. Baer had Carnera staggering around like a drunk, and the ref allowed that beating to last 10 knockdowns..Carnera survived
the slaughter, and fought many bouts after...

These injuries have clearly been overstated. Last I hear he suffered no factures to his face at all. In fact, it seems like the biggest injury he received was to his bicep.

We know that will not last. If Woodhead has that average that high with 100+ attempts, I'll eat my words.
