Based on what exactly? He had one fight screened last year if I remember correctly, with him stopping his opponent in one round. How can you say he is 'British level at best' based on that? :huh

Bellew fought a fighter who wins just over 1 in 3 fights and has won only 2 in his last 10 fights in his last fight
    whereas
Cleverly 'the guy who would be outclassed and smashed to ****in bits when they meet' fights a guy with a winning record of 7-0 who later becomes a british champ in only his 7th fight whilst fighting part-time.
I am just trying to grasp why cleverly gets so little amount of love on here?

Holmesey if you knew how hard Tony was trying to get the fights and the people who knocked him back you'd understand.

I think McKenzie Fry got £9k for the Cleverely. That was a COMMONWEALTH AND BRITISH title fight. He got beat and Warren and Bellew offered £10k for a non title fight and he refused saying he wanted more money ??? (I'm sure those were the figures)

    How does that work?

And it's not just the goatee mate. It's the goatee, the slick comb-back and his head band.

You are not Julio Chavez, you are not some Italian valentino (Neither was your cherry picking hero) and you are not Elvis.

And 'Basshunter' is the shittest of ringwalk tunes ever.

Hope all's well by the way mate :good

Yes mate i am well, hope you are too!
Mate you are entitled to your opinion and i feel for bellew if what you have said is true, what i am saying tho mate is clev isnt just some prospect 'he is the truth' he has stepped up to whatever plate and hasn't ducked anybody and gets so little love. What i will say about bellew is this, he can bang, he has a good boxing brain and a good future, he has a good future in boxing and can really make alot of money with the fanbase he is getting.

Personally i never see these meeting for the reason that i dont reckon frank wants them to meet. Just read what i have wrote and try and understand.
Remember mate i love the ones who are hated ala calzaghe.

Its not that at all you just have some kind of perverted affinity to those Welsh ****ers

Anyway mate, it's not that Cleverley doesn't get no love, he just doesn't get as much as The Bomber does. Will always happen when two Brits are looking to be destined to cross paths. There can only be one winner and the fans will choose who they want to support.

Look at Eubank/Benn. Chris definitely got the better of the two fights but people still root for Benn to this day (I was always a bigger Eubank fan)

    It ain't about sucking up...:yep

Me and my Manure pal Dan have a laugh and a joke about football, mostly at my expense...:huh

I respect your opinion and ain't disrespecting your boy one bit, but it is my opinion that Cleverley will get KO'd by Bellew...:bbb

I am sure given today's results Tony will be giving it to Dan...:yikes

Its not i just seem to like calzaghe and clev, i hate pryce with a ****ing passion.
Also i loved eubank way more than benn, anyway like i said mate i doubt they will ever meet. Frank has a habit of not pairing his fighters against each other. This fight reminds me of juanma v gamboa, degale v groves, either klit v haye, i just wanna see it now!!!

Frank is talking up a clash between Clev and Bellew quite a bit though - I think it will happen next year.
