I already made a Top 10 of the most boring active boxers

    http://www.boxingforum24.com/showthread.php?t=493839

Now let's see the other side of the coin. If those other boxers are walking sleeping pills, these are the guys that make boxing exciting and great to watch :bbb

    1. Pacquiao - one of the most entertaining fighters in history. He's not the same superhuman little beast of 6 years ago but Pac is still a perfectly honed fighting machine, nobody can move in and out like Pac throwing savage combos with blistering speed, power and accuracy. Pac is poetry in motion and unlike other fighters (like a certain shoulder roller) Pac doesn't need to trash talk his opponents or any kind of circus acts outside the ring to sell his fights; he can afford having the personality of a lettuce because he entertains the people in the ring. And he does it better than anyone else.

    2. GGG. Watching GGG is like watching Mike Tyson prime, such dominance, such incredible power, you can smell the fear in his opponents as soon as they get tagged in a fight, they know they'll end up splattered all over the canvas. No wonder all the MW top dogs are deathly afraid of him, crying in the corner like little girls. Just watching this engine of destruction at work is thrilling as hell

    3. Yuriorkis Gamboa- when he's in shape, he's one of the most exciting fighters out there. a true relentless, punching machine that nobody can halt. By far the most entertaining cuban boxer out there (perhaps the only one)

    4. Provodnikov - brutal and relentless puncher who doesn't know the meaning of backing off, the Siberian Rocky is a real savage with a killer instinct that is rare to see nowadays, stand toe to toe with him at your own peril

    5. Kovalev- another ice cold killer (this time literally speaking) from the russian steppes with a nasty punch. Kovalev has great timing, chin, and explosiveness along with his thirst for blood. Kovalev never dissapoints in the ring, he's a guaranteed brutal KO or TKO for his opponents

    6. Salido- the very definition of mexican warrior, he doesn't care who the hell you are or how hard you hit, Warlando will try to walk you down and brawl it out and grind you down no matter who you are, never retreat, never surrender

    7. Cotto - a great technician who's also an aggresive and fan friendly fighter, he can box and he can brawl, he can fight on the inside, outside, on the backfoot, he can jab, counter, he can do everything at a high level, he might be on his last legs and probably shot to ****, but so far no Miguel Cotto fight has been boring to watch

    8. Adonis Stevenson - athletically gifted, explosive as hell, he brings savage KOs to the table and is overall fun to watch

    9. Lucas Mathysse - Danny Garcia recently stopped the relentless march of this locomotive but Lucas is still one of the most entertaining fighters out there, blood & guts warrior with huge power and chin, the fight with Garcia was the first match Lucas didn't drop his opponent in a looong time

    10. Adrien Broner - He has a very peculiar, interesting fighting style of stalking pressure, and has the distinction of being the only shoulder roller who stands in the pocket and engages. This jackass really gets on my nerves whenever he opens his stupid mouth, but I have to admit, he's still quite fun to watch in the ring

Feel free to add your top 10

I think Gamboa is a little overrated in terms of entertainment value he brings to the ring.

Froch should be on the list.

Fact #1PPV attraction in history is the most entertaining. Numbers don't lie. People pay with hard earned cash to watch him. You know who I'm talking about.

Giovani Segura is at the very top of that list... literally #1 probably.

Hernan Marquez, Nonito Donaire, and Kazuto Ioka deserve mentions here as well. Sergio is pretty exciting I will say.

It's all up to opinion, and "entertainment" doesn't always equate to action but judging by the original post I feel comfortable with the above names.

If it's what they've done lately, Pacquiao doesn't really belong. Boring fights since 2009 with one exception. Marquez has had more in that time span.

    Gamboa doesn't belong at all.

GGG & Kovalev, there both ruthless.

Khan is almost always in an entertaining fight, whether he's providing the entertainment or being entertained himself!

I've followed George Groves for a long time now, his style is very easy on the eye. He'll become more mainstream now after the Froch fight.

Froch & Kessler have to be mentioned, both have provided some great tear ups.

    Matthsse
    Stevenson
    Provodnikov
    Pac
    Ortiz

Bar the Wlad fight, Haye provided excitement - speed/power.

Decent list. Pac and GGG are nowhere near spot #1 and #2 however. But I surely enjoy both.

    Honorable mentions:

    Froch
    Donaire
    Kirkland
Mayweather (fuck the wrestling casuals, seeing Mayweather box should be the absolute highlight for any boxing fan)
    Ortiz
    Maidana
    Khan
    YP Hernandez
Huck (he sucks but his fights are exciting)

    Nice list and descriptions.

Maybe you could do a list of most unintentionally entertaining fighters, like Khan, Ortiz, Wilder, Price and other nutjobs and KO's waiting to happen.
