Not as much of a joke as the guy in your avatar.

The guy in his avatar is the second best boxer alive at the moment.

Like the best boxer alive, he is sometimes unfairly tarnished for his lack of ATG opponents, but you can only fight those willing to fight you.

    Why is Hamed so high?

    Why is Hatton so high?

Why isn't Hopkins on this list?

    Read my whole post.

    I'm not nitpicking.

    He beat Sturm.

But, as I mentioned in my post, he has two or three wins that were arguably draws or losses.

Sturm was one. Quartey was one. (That's it from my point of view, but some throw in Sweetpea too. I can understan that).

This lists puts in perspective why Oscar can't be included in this lists....
He's actually fought 4 guys from this list, but the one common denominator is that he's 0-5 against them.

Oscar is like that NCAA basketball team with a strong strength of schedule, but just doesn't have the wins to get into the tournament.

better would be how many times the other especially the ones you highlighted have fought others on this list. lets see

    floyd 0 on this list
bernard 2 on this list 1-1
Tito 1 on this list 0-1
    Mosley 0 on this list.

So at this pace floyd and mosley wouldn't fight anyone on this list and bernard is 50-50 and tito will soon be 0-2.

So now Oscar having faced men on this list 5 times puts his level of competition higher than any of them. And we all know Oscar has had some close fights that could have gone either way and some of the ones listed in 0-5 would qualify. Quit hating on Oscar.

Read 1995-present. Oscar is arguable however, Pernell did sweet **** all after 1995.

That's certainly a debatable point, but even if what you say is true, his record wasn't especially good when he faced elite competition.

I mean, Marion Wilson faced some damned good competition at heavyweight, but I think there's more to P4P status than having a Who's Who list of fighters who've beaten you.
