I dunno' actually. But the film shows he shouldn't receive any criticism for the result. Speaking of Shibata I imagine he'd have given Salvador Sanchez a lot of problems too.

saldivar can mostly be criticised for his short career, but he got so much done during it htat it's hard to hold it too much against him.

Certainly one can't criticize saldivar for having a short career in comparison to Sanchez.

true enough, just saying it's probably one of the more easily identifiable general criticisms that could potentially be laid at his door

Big reason on why he's not likely to ever appear much higher on these lists.

I see. Still he had more fights than Leonard. I guess.

Davey Moore has Kalule and Moore was not even pretentiously great otherwise Duran wouldn't have beaten him. That's the dividing line: if Duran could beat you you weren't great.

In my heart of hearts I think if we had footage of all his close fights, Eddie Perkins might sneak onto the list.

That's how the net ten have panned out. I'm making more changes than I would have expected when writing them up. It focuses the thinking I suppose.

The big changes here: Young Griffo drops to 90 from 83. NP JD catapulted from the seventies into the eighties. Holmes shoots to the top of this ten.

Is Canto the greatest fly of all time over Perez now then?

I've had Canto above Perez throughout the entire process, yes. Wilde is above them both.
