Yeah getting to two hundred would be excellent Mandell gets his name in the top 110 hopefully and I would like to think Brian Mitchell gets a mention

Like, who goes where in the top 20? Sure, i'm all ears, I don't mind. But tbh, i've drawn very little from here since the 100 got locked in. This is because actually doing the write ups focuses my thinking even more than this place could. But i've no problem with people chipping in if that's what you mean.

    Yeah.

Who would you rank higher, Joe Gans or Joe Louis?

Without too much thought, I'd go with Joe Louis, close though. With Louis you just gotta throw him in somewhere. The closer you look, the worse he gets for me.

At least compared to these other mammoths.

Nah. Ranks high for dominance and gets big kudos for his ability. A lock for 11-15 for me.

I have Gans in the same bracket.

I just have not read enough on Packey. I know where he probably should be but I haven't got a good grasp on him yet and from what I remember he looked horrid against Welsh.

No. Nobody is locked above anybody really. If you compare what we had before i began writing them up to what i have now the differences are pretty big. It's not what I expected, it is what it is. On the other hand, Armstrong isn't locked above Charles...

Armstrong has to be above Charles.

Question is should he be above Robinson as well?

The men bolded are really LHW's. I still think Louis is greater than Gans but this is what I mean by the closer you look the worse his résumé gets.

And is Braddock really that great? To be in with those names? That's why it's called the Hall of Fame.

Bivins was not 'really a LHW'! Not at that stage, although his best heavyweight form was gone already.

And just because they are in the HOF doesn't mean they're his best wins either.

Does that mean Jimmy Ellis wasn't a good win for Ali because he was really a middleweight? What about Floyd Patterson?
