To give you an idea, my scrapbooks on Gans, which only have the text I have retyped already, contain approximately 3.5 million characters (including spaces). Tolstoy's 'War and Peace' contains 3.1 million characters (with spaces), although that's in Russian, I have no idea how big it is translated to English. Now, I only managed to read 1/3 of that book while in school, you want me to read it or to scan through it for pieces of information you want to know? You'll have to pay me to do that :p

Joe Louis longest reign in HW history is better than Robinson winning and losing the title so many times.

I do have Pep and Leonard over Louis (Leonard, inside the top 10) but Louis being in a lot of top 10s is nice to see :bbb

Retrospectively I've read he might've had it in first fight.

Common sense it is unlikely he was badly afflicted.

2nd and 3rd fights; he was already ill. Badly ill.

After that Packey would've won. Gans was criticised in his last bout for looking faded.

Help me out here. From this list, Charles beat Moore, Burley, Louis, Yarosz, Marshall and Bivins, right? Am I missing anyone?

Not knocking Charles at all here as he is an ATG without doubt but but he did beat Louis in 1950 I think I am right in that
