Ranking Genaro, Wolgast, Newsboy, Montana, Schwarz, **** it, loads of post-Pancho midgets, is a genuinely horrible task.

    Where's Benny Lynch anyway?

I would to be honest rank sot higher than galaxy when we done our top tens for Rumsfeld a while back i had sot at 9 in the fly rankings .

the WBC would not let Mitchell fight for their title for political reasons so that is really an unfair point on this matter

I have to rank fighters based on what actually happened. WBC champion was still very good, so Mitchell doesn't get uncrowned champ' achievement. And as sad as it is that a good man was ****ed over, Sot did defend the lineal title many times and deserves more credit for doing so.

Some of his more dreadful defences could maybe push the needle back the other way.

#9 is a fair enough ranking for Chitalada in an ATG flyweight list IMO. I'd probably have him a little lower, but he's in that argument.

Mitchell was regarded by many as the top super-feather of his day even on places like cyber he was regarded as such until he retired

What does that say for Julio Cesar Chavez or Azumah Nelson then?

Perhaps that's best answered by turning it round and saying what does that say for Mitchell then

Herol Graham beat better fighters than Shchlonglongkam during his 9 odd year unbeaten middle run during the 80s.Who cares if it's for a world title, the quality should be what matters. And no i aint saying he belongs instead, he doesn't either. But he was a better fighter than the thai.so were loads of contenders.

No one below feather belongs here that turned pro post early\mid 90s'ish.Some fine fighters but the divisions just haven't been strong enough to involve them yet.better to mention champs and contenders from better stronger periods in the sport first.

Over the last few pages a lot a fighters have been mentioned and rightly so will the amount of tiers increase or will the holding area just keep getting bigger or will this push McGrain so far down the road of insanity we will never hear from him again
