Great post and it's fair, although I think it has more to do with the pre-50s fighters schedules, especially in 20s-40s, much more active.

Back to Ohba; is he in this company? Obviously you'd have him over Mosley but not everyone would I don't think. Who would you rank higher out of Ohba and 'Chucho' Castillo? In fact, are we all happy with Castillo>Herrera and regardless of that are we happy with Roman>Either of 'em. It's something that's slipped my mind.

Also, again did Pete Herman make the top 100, can't remember?

I can see what you mean here, but (even though I agree with some of your examples there) it's not something I extend into my own criteria too much, unless it is super, super close. I mean, as I said earlier, it's pretty hard comparing the respective merits of Lynch and Buchanan as they were so stylistically different.

Wlad should definitely not make the top 150. I have the same problems with him as I do Lewis, but to an even greater degree, in an inferior era, dominating the over-matched, or fairly skilled but undersized (Byrd).

I'd have Patterson over Wlad when considering P4P, but neither should make it IMO. Dempsey, Jeffries, Johnson, and Willis are fortunate enough to make it. Plenty of HWs have made it, so it's not like they're getting treated unfairly. I'd say Patterson, Schemling, or Walcott are the only candidates that have a case, and it's not a great one.

He was stopped prior to and directly after Zamora as well. He was green and yet to fill out his physque; Wlad too.

However, Rocky Lockridge is much, much better than David Haye. But Wlad was more dominant in that performance......

I think Wlad's on par with Liston, Jeffries, and Wonjongkam. If they've already got spots in a tier, he should at least be considered.

Definitely not the guy I would pick for the final spot in the top 150 though.

Then your list is simply a matter of deducing which fighters you think has the x best wins and organising them appropriately. This list is about more.
