I know that Greb was a monster, and I like Greb. But #2? Hm....

Let me guess, you'd have Floyd above him?

Lol, and how did you come to that ridiculous and unwarranted (since you don't even know me) conclusion? Looks like someone has Floyd on their mind a bit too much and is projecting that obsession onto others?

To answer your question, no, I don't have Floyd (either Patterson or Mayweather) above him. As it stands now, Greb would most likely be in my top 10 with the likes of Robinson, Langford, Benny Leonard, etc. above him. His lost to Flowers (though the circumstances might prevent me from fully considering this loss), his several losses to Tunney, the lack of good footage (if any footage?) of his fights, etc. make me hesitant to put him at #2. Maybe #5 at best? Just my 2 cents.

The list was created in 2013, two years before the fight took place.

By that token why is Duran over 30 spots above Hearns despite being KTFO?

The same reason Hearns is on the list and Iran Barkley isn't: he's by far and away the greater fighter.

These 2 hit the nail on the head concerning Floyd and Manny. Floyd beating Pacquiao has little bearing on who ranks higher, especially since the fight occurred in 2015. I have no qualms with either fighter being higher than the other and an argument for Pacquiao being greater is not out of the question...especially taking into account his early resume.

I don't know why I feel like there should be more than one space buffering Oscar de la Hoya from Azumah Nelson, but I do.

Can't put my finger on it, and when I stop and actually analyze it, there's nothing glaring to point to in order to conclude that isn't reasonable.

They just seem like they ought to have more than a return-key between them.

Yeah I think Oscar got the short end of the stick here. But McGrain ranks boxers in a way where if a decision unjustly goes against the fighter, McGrain will hold it against them too.

My version of Oscar is greater than Mayweather.

Fair enough. :think I can't agree on that last sentence, even if you reversed all of his decision losses (bar Mayweather) to go his way, but I respect the viewpoint.
