I understand it has to be done on a case by case basis.. my thing is.. when most things are equal.. skills.. prime dominance...etc etc.. that the person moving up more divisions and getting good victories should get the tie breaker. That is how I view a p4p list.. with moving up given higher credence than a regular top 100 list.

I like where Young Corbett III is and its good to see his name on there.

I support this McG once a new round of fighters for holding is underway. Freddie Steele even more so.

I completely agree with this sentiment for analysis. Not only can your example be applied to weight jumping in modern eras but also the value people place on longevity and dominance in a weak era. For example would Monzon, Hagler, Hopkins distinguish themselves and become dominant if facing Jones, Toney, McCallum, Kalambay, Nunn, McClellan, Eubank, Watson, Benn in a strong era. Facing almost all of them in multi fight series and fighting every month for years? That's what you're comparing when looking at guys like Williams, Burley, Mike Gibbons, Yarosz, Steele, Overlin who all beat the elite they faced on a consistant basis under those circumstances, i place more value on that consistancy than the consistancy of the long reigning MW's.

OK my dudes, i'm not going to move th is thing on until we get some discussion on the bottom pod and the holding pod. So far all i've got is an appeal, which seems reasonable, to hold Zivic and Lynch back in the holding area and a stalled (I think flea?) opinion that Driscoll should be tier V.

Moar. Let's take the day and see what comes up.

I won't lie, I was slightly underwhelmed by him on there BUT both looked relatively 'modern' (good styles clash) and the fact it even showed up made me giddy with glee.

I thought he looked pretty good. He certainly had the measure of Fields in a major, major way. Mean shouthpaw cross.

Well i want ot wait for Salidvar to be introduced (i did always plan to introduce him, see my chat with Drew) before I consider it. When I introduce it, maybe re-post? Also, i'd like to see a case in isolation from Sanchez who is problem for a lot of people and will probably have to be moved down once we have 110 names and that.
