A small heavy whereas Lewis was a big one and the first man to ever hand Tier I Muhammad Ali a loss.

I'm actually kind of rethinking things, considering its a P4P list...

Lennox beat big guys and smaller guys though. He punched a hole in Vitali's face.

    Juan Manuel Marquez summarised:

Mentally register his career as 58-1-2-1 (40KO's)
    W Pacquiao (x3)
    W Norwood
    W Salido
    W Gainer
    W Barrera
    D John (I can't say Marquez lost)
    D Pacquiao
NC Duran (First round disqualification against a total bum, that is no loss)
L Mayweather (no harm in that. I don't even have a 160lb prime Marquez with a 2.0 body beating Mayweather. One of the most one sided ATG contests ever.

To add to the Pac-4 win, this was:
    1. aged 39
    2. not at Marquez's best weight
    3. KTFO6. The most shocking KO I've ever seen.

Marquez = GREAT longevity. Fighting at ATG level aged 39.
Very skillful counter puncher, very intelligent.
    Monstrous puncher.

Not much else to discuss on Marquez.
I think he deserves to be with Azumah Nelson, at Least.

(I just watched Norwood-Marquez, that was like the spike in his resume that pissed me off).

Marquez didn't really beat Norwood, IMO.

And the fight sucked, so no I'm not watching it again. Fun fact - Mayweather was in the main event, only a few lbs north at 130.

Frazier only lost to Ali and Foreman ok some of his challengers weren't exactly ATG's but he beat them and for a period of time he was a seemingly pretty unbeatable wrecking ball and of course he beat Ali which as wins go is the bollocks

I think JMM is 'roiding now but I can't prove it. I go with the official decision with the John fight although both deserved to be DQ'd for boredom suffered.

I do however have him clearly winning the 2nd (115-112) and 3rd (118-110) bouts with Pacquiao.

You see now why hate trying to rank him. I'm a big fan too, so I'm consciously waiting for the dust to settle before making a real judgement on where he stands.

I've got it 2-1-1 for JMM, personally...

Either way, that's a good ration to have in a four fight series with an ATG, especially with a KO to cap it.

Had the first two for Pac, the last 2 for Marquez. well actually the 2nd fight I had a draw but the knockdown won it for Emmanuel.

Who knows, I may change my mind again on the wins in the rivalry..that's the difficult thing about it.

Norwood-JMM was a boring fight, but I tolerated it because my mind is still scarred by the Alexander-Bailey fight (which made me question the purpose of my life, if pigs can fly, whether my parents are really mine, if 1+1 = 2 etc.).

Wilfried Benitez, Locche, Cervantes (one of my faves - maybe my desperation for him to be in top 100 is too high..I don't want to know lol), Rosenbloom, LaMotta deserve mentions at this point.

If McGrain puts Aaron Pryor in his Top 100, I will cry.

118-110 is the widest margin I've heard. What rounds did you give to Pacquiao?

Marquez a monstrous puncher? He had a good punch at feather-130 and a serviceable one at lightweight.

If he had been a great puncher he would have rendered Pac unconscious or seriously ****ed up in every fight they had. That was a big part of what kept them neck and neck for so long because Marquez was certainly the more skillful fighter. He's just no jofre or Arguello as a puncher, or really even a notch or two below like a Saldivar.About on par with Sanchez though.

Can't believe it's done 3 pages since I last posted though, do we have a top 100 now?

I agree with all those shouts too. Especially rosenbloom
