I could see him above Chavez and maybe Griffith I guess. I wouldn't have him above Hagler and Ryan though.

I have not seen this fight for years but I do honestly seem to remember thinking de la Hoya threw it away over the last 3 rounds . So I must of thought it was close and as I said before a while back . If I think it's close enough to go either way then it must of been by a point . Am I able to agree that I can score a fight wrongly hell yes especially if I can't remember exactly round by round how I scored the fight. Do I think Oscar was a top level fighter for his era yes he was but pre 1999 he was moved very well by his management team . This is not a personal attack on de la Hoya but an opinion expressed on a website where we are trying to help McGrain with his thread and he asked for our opinions . That's as simple as it gets

I was hammered but if you're against three people and one of them is threatening you as a 'professional boxer' you got to rely on your balls.

The emoticon and glorious avatar save you.

Nah, you've been great in this thread, not pushing for Chang over Lewis actually disappointed me a bit :D

They're very comparable IMO, their records are anyway, but in their final bouts Lennox defeated a bigger, dangerous lad and Chang didn't so I felt debating with myself wasn't worth the time :D
