I have mad respect for tony thompson right now. he was written off by everyone and he goes to a prospects home town and destroys him.

sure price isn't a world class boxer yet but he was probably top 15 and he was on hot form, thompson was seen as an old sheep fed to the young lion in a fight that wasn't so much about him than it was about price.

thompson should be on everyone's top ten, so what if he loses to wlad, most in the division would do the same.

Foreman would definitely make it in a greatest fighters list considering his achievements. But Foreman was a somewhat big, strong HW terrorizing HWs his size or smaller. To much lesser extent than Lewis & Liston, but still. I think this matters in a P4P context a little. Just enough for me to favor Tyson & Frazier to make it over Foreman, Lewis, and Liston types. We already have Ali, Holmes, and Louis making it. Plenty of boxer types. Marciano can't be the only aggressive fighting HW type to make it a top 100 P4P list (No, I'm not hinting at Dempsey either).

What Foreman did was incredible in his comeback, so I won't argue if he makes it over Lewis at the very least. In terms of skills, ability, greatness I'd favor Tyson & Frazier P4P over Lewis & Foreman, though.

Duran above Louis, Walker above SRL. Moore is low but never reigned his dominance so I can accept his placement due to greatness via longevity.

Duran has to be top 10. For P4P achievements I'll take him over Pep. Yeah Pep has an incredible comeback from a plane crash, an amazing number of fights and is the consensus greatest featherweight of all time. But Duran, fought in five decades, only member of the fabulous four to beat Ray Leonard, one of the greatest lightweights of all time, beat one of the greatest featherweights of all time, beat a top 5 ranked middleweight, plenty of film of him looking one of the most skilled fighters ever.

Duran is top ten and he's greater than Pep.

I have Louis anywhere between 11-15. I have Walker in top 10, 8-10 although I can see him at 11 or 12 depending on how high I am on Fitz that day.

I always have Walker above Ray Leonard, who I usually put in the 15-20 bracket.

I was just commenting on the numbered rankings within the tiers but yeah Ray above Walker seems pure crazy to me, Thompson maybe. He did just knock out the RING magazine prospect of 2012.:D
