Not to be a stickler, but you do realize that you're basically the only one who believes that, Pep fans included? I've seen all of the footage (and more, apparently) that you have, so it's not as if I'm missing something. Compare the two side by side. Whitaker's jab was the more versatile and efficient weapon, consistently, even if Pep did have an underrated jab. There's a difference between having a very good, underrated jab and having arguably the most efficient jab ever.

you probably are right ive been watching some more Pep and its not like how i remember but its still pretty good and close to Whittakers i would edge towards Pea jab now but i still think Pep would beat him but my argument about the jabs are that Peps jab is at its best agaionst a taller man (Pea)

Pea has the best jab of all time IMO.

Pea, no place for Pryor? I know he didn't have a very deep resume but I know you really rate him, surprised.

Very good choices by Pea there, as always. Would be interested to see your top 20 or top 100 list.

Mine needs re-thinking. I might be able to conjure up a top 20 130 lb list or 122 list for you, my ordering and reasons might help you out.

**** knows how Pea managed to create such a definitive list in (I'm assuming) a small amount of time but I ain't got the time to conjure up anything at the moment.

It would require serious thought but wouldn't probably differ much from Pea's, whose list looks pretty comprehensive.

Yeah, put Pryor in there among the Lightweights. He was simply one that slipped my mind. There are probably quite a few others as well.

I noticed you missed out Pacquiao. Is that because you don't believe he fits into a top 20 of a weight class due to jumping weight a lot?

I don't quite know where to place his prime weight to be honest. I'd say post-Featherweight, but on the other hand I don't like his chances against the great Lightweights. Either way, he's a top 100 shoo-in at this stage.

I agree. While I don't believe he has a strong enough resume to be in the top 20 of any original weight class, he's definitely accomplished enough overall to be comfortably within the top 100 of all time.

Pea you did the old-school divisons, but do you really rate Calzaghe as a LHW? He didn't really accomplish nothing..

I was only using the 8 original weight classes. He'd fall into the LHW category, just as Jones would, because they did the majority of their best work above 160 and were natural Light Heavies.
