I was pissed at how "Tyson-Norris" of '99 flopped, as well....... A late punch... CHRIST!

What stunk worse: Bowe versus "Dokes or Ferguson" in 1993?

I did buy Tyson Seldon also.

But I not too upset over that one, I pretty much expected Tyson to win by ko round 1 or 2. Well ok, it seem a miss punch at the time when I saw it.

But on the bright side, Christy Martain did put on a good undercard for the fight. I was impress with that fight. So either way I got my money's worth there. I am a big Christy fan mind you.

As for Tyson Holyfiled II, that was suppose to be a superfight, Ali Frazier kinda of deal or how it was build up as. Nothing less than the end of days were standed on this fight, and it ends with a DQ from Tyson for biting.

I bought it for a boxing match, not seeing Tyson ripping flesh from Holy with his bare teeth lol.

Well of couse if you look at it that way.

People pay big bucks for a Tyson fight, and most often than not it always ended with "Tyson KO 1".

Its not like Ali or Lewis or Holyfiled who would give you rounds and boxing in these PPV's.

    Note:

I just uncovered my 1995 tape of the HBO classic "Tyson" that starred Michael Jai White and George C. Scott........ I really like this HBO film... It is good...

For a 'quick' one-round stinker, I think Tyson-Spinks has to be up there. Spinks was a major disappointment. And with all those TV cameras there and there still isn't a clear view of the final punch landing !

Of course, Tyson-Seldon and Ali-Liston were worse.

    I thought Smith-Witherspoon was a stinker too.

I've always thought that about the Tyson-Spinks punch -- where was it exactly?

Tyson vs. Holyfield II - televised in the middle of the night.
A scandal - and a scandal that Tyson was not banned for life.
He just got in the Hall of Fame - did´nt he !!??
Like mentioning Osama Bin Laden in the same company as Lord Nelson and Napoleon.

You dont really see it land properly. Four separate camera angles show it "land", but not in any great detail.

Ray Leonard call it an "uppercut" but it's really just a low-slung right hand, and Tyson doesn't follow it through.
I guess it must have been a good punch though, at least Spinks' reaction made it look that way.

I meant, it was funny you mentioned it, coz I'd just watched the "fight" (not to be unkind) the day before & thought exactly the same. Spinks does look totally gone -- though saying that, he looks totally gone during Tyson's ringwalk. Who's to say, I guess?
