    Not in my personal top 10, but a good fighter. Thought he was better at Welterweight, though Simon Brown ko'd him in a title try. Would have liked to have seen Toney give him a pounding. Remembered Trice, after one of his fights grabbing the mic and calling out Toney, who was seated in the crowd. With Toney's attitude you can imagine how that went down with him.

    Shame ,no one has mentioned the great Dave Shade, who if not for Harry Greb,
    might have been MW champion in the roaring twenties. Shade beat almost all his
    opponents, avoided no one and held his own with a prime Mickey Walker...Good enough to flatten a great heavier LH Jimmy Slattery....Shade has been in the shade too long...
