Ward perhaps deserves the #3 ranking, but Kessler had looked pretty rubbish since losing to Calzaghe. It didn't tell us much and Ward's constant holding, hitting and head-butting should have been factored in. He could have been DQ'd for how often he did it.

Kessler STILL has a better resume at SMW than Ward. Rankings are based on achievement, not potential. I'd be happy with Ward at 4 or 5, but you've got Froch, Bute, Abraham (whose two wins at SMW are much more impressive than Ward's) and Kessler who are much more accomplished. For me:

    Froch (resume, undefeated)
Bute (recent performance, general resume and undefeated)
Abraham (undefeated, resume at SMW includes one of Ward's victims and Abe's win was better)
Ward (poor resume, but excellent wins over Kessler and Miranda)
Kessler (the poor performance against Ward and sloppy outings since Calzaghe loss)

    bad list.

    1. Froch (even if you don't like him, he is unbeaten, a proven world champion, and has the most quality wins.)
    2. Ward
    3. Bute
    4. Abraham
    5. Kessler
    6. Dirrel
    7. Stieglitz
    8. Miranda
    9. Green
    10. Bika

Yeah dirrell should be on the list, he went to frochs place and nearly got the win, that should count for something imo

abrahams only had on fight at supermiddle against a faded JT, dirrell has boxed at world level and been beat so that doesent make him top 10, bute hasnt beat a top 5 SM as i dont think bika should be that high so he shouldnt be number 1, id have kessler at 1 with froch at 2 and the winner of that going 1

You want to talk about a guy that hasn't done anything...who has Allan Green beaten? Seriously, his best win was who? Jaidon Codrington? Tarvis Simms? Green is garbage.

yes but dibella's not gonna let this unfold w/o a fighter of his in there. jermain is gone, so insert another dibella fighter. that's a lot of money potentially in or out of his pocket considering the guaranteed fights. $$$ my friend

Oh no, I agree that he is a good replacement candidate for the Super Six, based on potential alone, but Green has made a living out of ducking big fights.

Very close. Im only locked on top five, and it will properly change after next round of the super six, and Butes next fight. I think that Abraham will enter top tree soon..

    1. Ward
    2. Froch
    3. Kessler
    4. Bute
    5. Abraham
    6. Dirrell
    7. Stieglitz
    8. Green
    9. Andrade
    10. Bika

Abraham who beat Taylor should be ahead of Ward? Ward who beat Miranda (pretty similar win, much more impressive in dominance) and the #1 at the time, Mikkel Kessler Abraham has 1 win at SMW, Taylor who was 1-1 at the weight. Ward has the best win of anyone in the division. Miranda is good too, making him #1 or #2.
