I’m new to this forum so I’m not sure if this one has been done to death or not, but Micky Walker vs Jake Lamotta 15 rounds at middleweight both at there peak, who do you have winning?

From what I can tell with a quick Google search, this fight hasn't been done here since 2009, so there's probably some fresh opinions

I take Lamotta by UD in a stupidly brutal infight. Lamotta slightly outworks Walker, and Lamotta's chin can take the powerful shots Walker can dish out.

Tough one. I would have to slightly favour Walker.

I think its Walker who would slightly out work Jake for the razor close win.

    I'm with Robert,

LaMotta has some Great Victories, thousands did, and obviously a merited career, like thousands more, but Jake is one of the most overrated fighters in Boxing History. He had a career fighting a lot of WW's, he is great fighter, but not an Elite, i.e Greb, SRR, Hagler, you get the picture.

Robert Villemain was walking, fighting living proof of that reality

Walker for me, he's a level up from Jake imo.

Lamotta fought his share of welters, so did Walker, but Jake also beat middles like:
    Basora
    Lytell
    Williams
    Hariston
    Dauthille
    Mitri
Who are Walker's best scalps at 160lbs?
    An old McTigue?
A robbery over an old Flowers?
    Malone?
Lamotta actually has the better middleweight CV.

    ps Hagler fought ;
    Duran. ex lightweight
    Antuofermo. ex L middle
    Hearns. ex welter
    Leonard. ex Welter
    Mugabi. L middle
    For me it's a 50/50 fight.

All valid points no argument here.
IMO I feel Walker hits harder ..is constantly busier ..judging from the size of his thighs possible stronger ..digs to the body better. I'm my honest opinion I think he beats the crap out of LaMotta. But again I try very hard not to force my opinion on anybody else. I just state my reasoning.

I'd agree Walker had more power,I just think Jake has better wins at 160lbs.The fight is a toss up for me.
