Ward is over-rated. He won't win the tournament. When it comes to the semi's and he doesn't get things his own way, he'll make the mistakes that will see him punished.

he hurt him with an uppercut in the fifth or something, I recall. Kessler looked very out of sorts, clumsy and laboured. As much as Ward deserves credit for such a solid performance, there's no doubt that Kessler looked like **** and only a little of that was Ward.

When kessler was throwing more than two jabs, he was catching Ward, yet he abandoned that tactic. Why didn't his corner tell him to keep up with that?

I honestly didn't give Kessler one round in that fight. I've always thought he was a one-dimensional, robotic, overrated boxer with a lack of power and adaptability, and his fight with Ward proved that.

Fought in Germany, Australia and the UK altogether too. So, about 5 countries in total. The champ should defend where they want, imo.

Abraham will win this tournament pretty easily, I think. He's the best from a group of hyped up but unspectacular/green fighters.

I'm not sobbing for the guy because he had to fight in Oakland. The whole "everything was against him!" argument doesn't jive with me and this is from someone who believes Kessler vs Ward is going to be the finale when all things are said and done.

If you put yourself into the position to where your trainer has to ask you to quit - and five times, no less - then maybe...you should quit.

I ain't asking you too. I don't give that much of a ****. I'm just saying he's had title fights on the road. It's not like he's stayed only in his country. He's stepped up to the other man more than once.

Kessler will probably only win one fight in the tournament - round 3, versus Allan Green. But that really depends on the extent of the beating that Froch is about to dish out to him. Kessler may be even further diminished after that fight.

I agree with this and I feel nothing ill towards Ward but I do believe that the ref should at least be fair to both parties. It's one thing to foul and get away with it because the ref didn't catch something but its another to foul and get away with it because the ref is corrupt. Its not Ward's fault of course but it does suck for Kessler.

But my point is people are saying "Aww he had to go into Oakland for this fight!" Well durf...that **** happens in a fighters career. Sometimes he has to fight in enemy territory, there were how many guys during Kessler's career who had to go and fight in his home town?
