Honestly it's ridiculous to rank David Haye above Povetkin. The list isn't credible enough.

I don't care if someone says that one ranking destroys the credibility of the list; it's stoopid. I can find literally two dozen things to disagree with on any complete set of rankings.

To this specific question, I do personally agree that Povetkin should be above Haye. But I also think that Povetkin's performance against Huck makes the notion that he is clearly and inarguably to be ranked above Haye is a bit odd. It's close, and the next fight by either will likely straighten any perceived inaccuracies out nicely.

1-1 over the last 2 years.

The one loss was completly lopsied.

The one win was against a perrenial loser coming off of a loss.

Yeah you lose credibility because you are overrating a fraud(and we all know why). Remind us when David takes on a prime young top 10 fighter.

Multiple people calling you out on your BS ranking and you really cant seem to justify it.

There's nothing to justify. He is universally ranked at 3 or 4. I've no idea why you, or anyone else would fixate upon which way around TBR have this is so crucial. Seems very bizarre. I'd have him at #4 now, but i'm very relaxed with him at #3. I don't even consider it cause for mild concern.

You being stubborn is the only bizarre thing around here.

1-1 over the last 2 years yet his ranking seems set in stone according to you

I'm not being stubborn, there is nothing i can do about it - it's a board, I don't control the rankings.

If TBR is wrong on this issue, it is wrong by one space - one. That's **** all. Because we only adjust rankings when fights occur (or when a fighter runs afoul of the inactivity rule), this will be sorted out when Haye fights next, or when someone below him fights next and does enough to overtake them.

    Simple. Fair. Nothing to justify.

Will Haye deserve to be the third best HW after knocking out Fury? I mean, Fury is a young top 10 fighter.

As long as McGrain is running this thread Haye could lose KO1 not fight for 2 years and still be the next best thing behind the Klits

I know your struggling with this but

    a) almost every independent body in the world that ranks fighters ranks Haye top 4

    and

    b) i'm running the thread but NOT the rankings.

I can't really make it any clearer than that.

VG - It's hard to imagine anyone serious NOT ranking Haye @ #3 in November assuming Haye beats Fury and Wladimir beats Povetkin.
