Because thirty guys have to wade in on about twenty issues before the new weekly rankings are organised and published on a dozen different websites - including this one.
I'll save McGrain the bother of repeating himself again - HE ISN'T THE SOLE ARBITER OF THE RANKINGS. He can't just update everything on a whim. It's done by committee elsewhere and he just reports the findings here. McGrain is the liaison between TBR and ESB/BN24 via his thread here. This isn't home base, just a relay station. Maybe a disclaimer to such effect in the OP wouldn't hurt? :yep
Danny Garcia and Floyd Mayweather, both in vintage performances, have established new lineage and become true Kings in the only way a fighter can or should be able to do so - by meeting with the other contender that makes up the top two in a given division. Garcia's superb performance also sees him crack the p4p top ten: 1 Floyd Mayweather, Jr. *USA45-0-0 (26)Junior Middleweight 2 Andre Ward *USA26-0-0 (14)Super Middleweight 3 Juan Manuel MarquezMEX55-6-1 (40)Welterweight 4 Sergio Martinez *ARG51-2-2 (28)Middleweight 5 Manny PacquiaoPHI54-5-2 (38)Welterweight 6 Carl FrochENG30-2-0 (22)Super Middleweight 7 Wladimir KlitschkoUKR60-3-0 (51)Heavyweight 8 Guillermo Rigondeaux *CUB12-0-0 (8)Junior Featherweight 9 Nonito DonairePHI31-2-0 (20)Junior Featherweight 10 Danny Garcia *USA27-0-0 (16)Junior Welterweight And the true champions of the world, as recognised by the TBRB, who have the most strict championship policy possible: 175 - ADONIS STEVEN 168 - ANDRE WARD 160 - SERGIO MARTINEZ 154 - FLOYD MAYWEATHER 140 - DANNY GARCIA 122 - GUILLERMO RIGONDEAUX 112 - AKIRA YAEGASHI
So you have different rules for different fighters which created the opportunity for bias.....surley the whole reason you created these rankings in the first place was because of bull**** like that from the Ring?
How can Mayweather win the Light Middleweight title at 152lbs? That doesn't sound like a very strict to me?
We have different rules for champions and contenders. The light-middleweight title is defended between 147.1 and 154lbs. You can use google, go to the homepage, dig up the videos of Teddy Atlas talking about us on ESPN, read articles in The Guardian, NPR, Las Vegas Magazine, Bleacher, Wikepedia or The Examiner... (weird thing to ask though...)
Rob thinks i'm a one man army (the number of people he pretends are involved in the TBRB is lower every time he speaks about it, which he does a lot).
Did he fall prey to a Catfish type while online dating or something? Of course the internet holds no guarantees of things being what they seem but that seems a bit overboard paranoid. Why should you lie about being part of a larger group of like mind? ...why?
