froch at 5th is a truly awful decision and i am a froch fan. wouldnt get in my p4p list.

danny garcia, who lost his last fight, is truly a diabolical inclusion

Probably that long stretch of tough, tough fights that stretches back to Jean Pascal and 2008.

But, I don't "do" the TBRB p4p list tbh.

I'm well aware of what happened. I watched it on boxnation and was in the RBR thread and if I recall correctly IB scored it 116-112 Herrera

    http://www.boxingforum24.com/showthread.php?t=501723

    View Poll Results: Who won?
    Danny Garcia 55 15.03%
    Mauricio Herrera 311 84.97%
Voters: 366. This poll is closed

Poll is flawed in that there's no option for a draw but just look at the results...... and you have this guy on the p4p list

Poll on a different site with sizeable sample had similar results with 85% scoring it for Herrera and the rest either a draw or for garcia

Yeah, but ESB thinking he lost the fight and his losing the fight are different. I thought he lost the fight, but he didn't, and nor was the decision overturned.

But I don't really care. I have almost no interest in the p4p list.

You had Provodnikov in your list though.

Is he really much better P4P than those guys?

And that's the peril of pound-for-pound lists.

Pretty much why I feel resume should play a big part, doesn't always guarantee that the best get on the list, but you should have the wins to prove your skills are really elite.

I think resume is THE most important criteria for determining P4P lists, or how good a fighter is in general. Anyone can look good fighting bums. Your performance against the best is how people see how skilled you are.

    Yes, it is.

I think what throws some people about the TBRB list is that there is a provision for seeking out the greatest challenges. Fighters who achieve while actively seeking out their best possible opponents tend to be forgiven more...

Time for me to eat crow. All that diatribe I projected towards the list and my inclusion of Ruslan turned out to be incorrect
