    Could Crawford be the lineal champion if he beats Beltran? Sometimes, the winner of the fight between the #1 and #3 fighters is the lineal champion.

    Why is Quillin #2 in the last two years he's beat N'Dam, Guerrero, Rosado, Konecny during the same time Geale has Adama, Sturm, Mundine, Wood does a SD loss hurt your rating that much? Matinez just got massacred and is still #3. There only relevant wins are N'Dam and Sturm which aren't even close.

    Also why is N'dam at 10 he's beat no one in the last two years except an ancient Zuniga who had lost 3 of his last 4 going in and his best career win is Bursak. In the same time Korobov has beat Nunez, Brewer, Duran, Edwards, Uzcategui he's more deserving of the 10 spot.

    I think he could be a spot lower myself, but i'm happy with the board's placement of him. Deposed Champions will rarely go tumbling in the way you want to see here, even if they are massacred.

    Here, I disagree with you. Korobov isn't there yet and this is illustrated by the fact that he beat Drewer, yes, but in an eight round contest. He isn't fighting over the twelve round distance yet. Now, that doesn't prohibit a fighter's inclusion but it does help to illustrated areas in which he is untested but in which N'Dam is experienced. N'Dam's ranking above Korobov illustrates the board's preference for N'Dam as an opponent for Cotto than Korobov's; that's probably close to inarguable, whatever you may personally prefer to see.

    Why is Kolodziej above Kalenga at cruiser?

    Kalenga clearly has better wins, his only loss was an awful hometown decision & he holds a (paper) world title

    He beat the previous Middle weight champ Martinez who beat Pavlik, who beat Taylor who beat Hopkins WBA, WBC ,WBO and IBF champ.

    Seems clear that Cotton is champ at 160 lbs.

    As to Kalenga-Kulikauskis, I agree with you that Kalenga won, but I don't htink the decision was robbery territory. I thought Kalenga missed a lot, was absolutely blowing out his arse, and that Kulikauskis was backing him up a bit in nine is crazy. Allowing for the point deduction, which i'm sure you didn't think was corrupt,

    KALENGA: 1,2,4,5,7,8,10
    KULIKAUSKIS:3,6*,9

    But that is not why he is at #10. He is at #10 because he was not ranked for Kal-Kul. As you probably know, other rankings tend to admit the judges decision for rankings purposes. TBRB do try to overturn bad decisions. I think that this one 1) Doesn't qualify as an out and out robbery (not the same as my being comfortable with the decision 2) Probably wouldn't have been overturned by the board and 3) wasn't considered for overturning by the board. Not every fight is considered. I'm sure you understand that this is not possible.

    So he makes do with #10, and will gain spots with each victory.

    lineal doesn't mean **** when you never have, never will fight at 160 lb. and clearly aren't in the league of the best 160 lber. seems clear you need a few surgeries to figure that out. not that rankings mean anything.

    Like it or not, Cotto is the lineal champion. He beat the previous lineal champ, Martinez.

    Being the lineal champion doesn't necessarily mean that you're the best fighter in your division.

    On another topic, if Crawford beat Mikey Garcia, would you guys put him in the top 10 P4P list?

    Yes.

    Yes, it does happen sometimes. But it shouldn't.

    A vacant divisional throne should only be filled after an official winner is declared after the two best in the division fight it out. The involvement of #3, #4, #5, #6, or whatever misses the point of what the champion is. The two best, no one less.

    Absolutely. And it's surprising how many informed boxing fans just can't figure that out. It's a basic fact.

    That would be a tough sell. Gonzalez is #10 and Crawford has real work to do before that, in my opinion at least.
