You realize that who is standing opposite you has nothing to do with your application of fundamentals of technique, right? That isn't a perception thing, but an "either you are or you aren't" empirically determinable sort of thing, you get that, right?
I understand that perfectly. I also understand that there is a difference between how well you apply those fundamentals when you are standing in front of a TOMATO CAN as opposed to when you are standing in front of a live opponent. Call me when the Triple Duck fights someone with a pulse...
Erislandy Lara called him out and Triple Duck's people all of a sudden caught a severe case of amnesia - acting as if they had never heard of him. Like I said, call me when the Triple Duck fights someone with a pulse...
And lets not forget how the Triple Duck was willing to go up to 168 to fight Baby Chavez - but still wants to act like he doesn't know who Andre Ward is. LOL...
First of all Lara is not a middleweight, so you didn't answer the question. And if Lara didn't have the courage to stand and trade with Canelo, what do you think his gameplan would be against GGG. Secondly if Lara came upto 160 and GGG destroyed him, it would be because "GGG is dragging up jr middleweights" so Lara, in your view wouldn't be any better than anybody else GGG has beaten already. Thirdly if GGG went up to 168 and lost to Ward, you would hail it as an amazing win for Ward and not say 'Ward is dragging up middleweights" HBO executives have gone on record saying GGG is the only fighters who has never rejected someone we propose. You are blinded by hate
Because that is a PPV fight. Ward in Oakland in front of one man and his dog is not. You do realise there is something boxers fight for called money right? They don't just get in the ring for shits and giggles.
He walks into the ring weighing more than 160lbs. Had Triple Duck the courage to fight Lara then we all would have seen for ourselves.. I find it odd that, despite Triple Duck's affinity for fighting 154lb'ers, he chose to avoid Erislandy Lara. Speaks VOLUMES.. I find it even MORE amazing that Triple Duck is willing to fight Baby Chavez at 168, a fighter who has *never* beaten anyone of note, while at the same time acting as if he has amnesia whenever Andre Ward's name is mentioned. Speaks VOLUMES.. Which is why HBO has *never* proposed the Ward fight. In fact, HBO is STONEWALLING a potential Ward Triple Duck contest. Why is that, Genius? Speaks VOLUMES. LOL...
I see. And his next fight against the next TOMATO CAN in line is going to be featured on HBO PPV, correct? LOL...
1. Lara enters the ring more than 160. OK I suppose Salido should be classed as a Jr Middleweight then. 2. Just because Lara said he would fight GGG does not mean an offer was made. Lara is promoted by Golden Boy who don't do business with HBO who Golovkin has contract with. 3. If GGG is never offered a fight with Lara how can he turn it down. Saying he doesn't know who Lara is, is not rejecting a fight. 4. If Ward is so desperate to fight Golovkin, then why does he not drop down to 160- you know, like Dawson did for Ward? After all Ward has beaten the best fighters at 168 but Golovkin has only beaten TOMATO CANS at 160 so why doesn't Ward seek a new challenge instead of hiding in Jokeland?
Irrelevant. Triple Duck has fought '54lb'ers in the past - yet seemed to turn deaf, mute and blind when Lara called him out. Why is that? Hopkins Kovalev, Nov 8th on HBO. The Ole' man is promoted by Fish Nets Promotions [GBP] last I checked so you can go ahead and throw that excuse out the window. So who says Triple Duck was never offered the Lara fight? You? LOL... Stop with the straw man arguments. Even more excuses and logical fallacies. You sound as if you've been vacationing on Planet Klitschko. Ward wasn't an issue for Triple Duck *until* he agreed to fight Baby Chavez @ 168. Do you not see the problem here? LOL...
1. Show me the contractual offer that Lara's team sent to GGG and the prove that Lara's offer was rejected. HBO don't seem to know of this as according to those guys GGG hasn't turned down anyone. Until you can prove that Lara made a contractual offer to GGG you have no evidence just that Lara said he would fight GGG. If you ask me Lara knew the fight wouldn't happen and deluded people such as you applauded a man who doesn't have courage to trade with Canelo is suddenly going to knock out Golovkin, because he piggy backed off that name. 2. OK Hopkins, a Golden Boy shareholder who plays by different rules, is willing to come to HBO. Is Lara who is advised by Al Haymon, who had Quillin a natural middleweight, duck the much less proven than GGG Korobov. Doubtful. 3. So who says Lara's team made an offer to GGG you? LOL. Doesn't seem like much of a Haymon move to you. 4. Boxing is a buinsess. Chavez Jr- ticket seller, PPV attraction, A side. Ward- can't draw flies to ****, poor TV ratings, B side. Ward can't call shots. So why doesn't Ward move up in weight being he's beaten most top 168lbs? Ward the ducker lol, wants to beat up blown up middleweight in his hometown lol. Andre DUCKER OF GOD Ward lol look at my funny nicknames. He just wants to beat TOMATO CANS like Edwin rodriguez, in fac t he doesn't even want to fight TOMATO CANS because he doesn't bother fighting at all because the TOMATO CANS would beat him lol lol lol!! 2 can play at the deluded hater boy game. :hi:
1. The FACT remains, Lara called out the Triple Duck and the Triple Duck proceeded to turn deaf, mute and blind. FACTS. Learn to live with them. 2. The FACT remains, a Golden Boy fighter is fighting on HBO. Therefore, your sorry ass excuse for the Triple Duck doing his best impersonation of Hellen Keller when Lara called him out is null and void. FACTS. Learn to live with them. 3. See point #2. FACTS. Learn to live with them. 4. Yes, I agree. Boxing is a business and the FACT of the matter is that the Baby Chavez fight DIDN'T get made. Be that as it may, I wonder what fight would have made the Triple Duck more money, an Andre Ward fight or the fight against whatever TOMATO CAN he has lined up for his next paper title defense? Care to answer, Einstein?
