Fury's wider resume is absolutely not p4p material. There is no question of his ranking on a reasonable p4p list. And i'm British, and I like it fine.

The omission of Andre Ward is glaring. Actually, it's shameful...

    LOL.

    Michael Moorer
    Michael Spinks
    Bob Foster

And that's just off the top of my head. All of these guys stand, trade and put Kovalev on his ass @ 175lbs...

Out of all the great LHW fighters in history you pick 3 who have been knocked clean out in their career.

Why would they want to stad and trade with Kovalev? Why would anyone?

If you was the trainer of Moorer, Spinks or Foster and your game plan was "stand and trade and put him on his ass" you'd be laughed at.

Quite clearly the 3 should be outboxing him, taking him to deep waters and maybe taking him out late on.

Moorer should be trying to out speed him and hurt him with combinations before moving back out of range.

Spinks really needs to be landing the jab and overhand right side stepping the attacks and keeping one step ahead.

Foster should be staying at range and keeping Kovalev at the end of his reach landing hurtful shots.

Neither of the 3 should be standing and trading. Can't believe you would say something so stupid.

    LOL.

They got KO'ed @ HW, Genius. Kovalev might be a big puncher for a '75lb'er but he ain't packing HW power, Einstein.

    You completely miss the point.

Out of all the LHW men you could pick to try and prove your ridiculous point, you pick 3 who have been sparked. You pick 3 who certainly should no be standing and trading with him.

1+1=2 so lay down the crack pipe.

Both Moorer and Spinks have KO wins over top 10 HWs.

Call me when Kanvalev moves up and KO'ed someone in the top ten @ HW...

So what? You think that means they should stand and trade with Kovalev? Do you even watch the sport?

    I don't know Kanvalev is.

I'll keep an eye out for this boxer.

Call me when you have watched enough boxing to discuss tactics.

Because Rigondeaux exhibited ridiculous p4p skill and had at least beaten Marroquin and Ramos. Fury hasn't and hasn't. Additionally, the situations are very different; Fury beat a 40 year old who looked unable to pull the trigger. A wonderful win, but not p4p stuff. These, at least, would be my reasons.

For alternative reasons you could ask any of the other organisations that provide a p4p list and don't include him and ask their reasons. I would rank him above DeGale though, who gets into the *********** top 10 p4p. I think he's #1 out of Britain right now.
