Hey Naysayer, so do you think Ward is ducking Kovalev :think

    Same network
Has fought closer to 175 than G has fought to 168
No real clear opponent for him right now that is bigger name than Kova

    :think

    No.

Kovalev is clearly ducking Stevenson though.

Really ? Kovalev would LOVE to wipe the floor with Stevenson. Stevenson made the fight close to impossible by running to Haymon.

So why did Kovalev's side pull out of the purse bid after lobbying the WBC to be made the mandatory for Stevenson's title? Kovalev could have forced the fight. All his side had to do was participate in the purse bid. Instead, they chose to FORFEIT their mandatory status and run back home to Krush more TOMATO KANs.

    Why is that?

So, you don't see, at all, how trying to hold Golovkin to ducking Ward, but not holding Ward to ducking Kovalev, is being bias as hell? :huh

That helped but it really wasnt until oscar retired that floyd became the PPV king. factors including Jones, Mosley, Trinidad, Vargas, etc washing up along the way also helped immensely.

As for GGG, he is a huge draw that is one break out fight away from becoming the next PPV king, and he will most likely surpass Floyd's records. The thing about Floyd breaking PPV records has 2 reasons for it: Everyone else retired and hardcore fans were moreless forced to watch floyd, and second is social media. Can you imagine the PPV sales if social media was as big as it is today with prime Tyson or oscar fighting!? When they were fighting, there was no social media really, especially when Tyson was fighting. People may hear about these guys but they didn't have access to all their fights on youtube or could simply visit their twitter or instagram to check up on all their updates and gossip, along with trash talking opponents. This alone has helped skyrocket floyd's career.

Meanwhile back in the real world, GGG's next fight sold out in no time, there's still tickets available for Floyd's next fight(with less than 10 days to go.)

This should be a great thread to bump once those PPV numbers come in. According to reports, 150K buys would be a profitable success. Anything over is just gravy and I think it could do anywhere between 300-500K.

Meanwhile, Ward will continue to fight actual tomato cans in Oakland in front of a free TV audience of 300K...

And it'll continue again and again: naysayers predict some stupid ****, and completely opposite happens. And their hatred will grow exponentially lol they will start see GGG in their dreams.

The difference here is that Ward has had discussions with the Kovalev camp for a fight and I fully expect that Ward will meet Kovalev in the ring at some point. Can't say the same for Bumlovkin with respect to a Ward fight...

Sure thing. Just as soon as we have numbers from his next fight. Honestly, I hope that I'm wrong. IF Bumlovkin proves to be a descent PPV draw then maybe fights we want to see involving him can happen @ 160 and 168.

Shane Mosley's last fight was on PPV. Are you going to tell me that Shane is a PPV draw? Is that how your "logic" works?

Get back to me when you have PPV buy numbers from the Triple Ducks next fight...

Didn't Ward said he'll fight anyone from 168 to 175? Now he's calling guys from 160 to duck Stevenson and Kovalev? He also said the winner of super6 must fight Bute and when he won it he ****ed his pants when Bute called him. That's 3 ducks right there, is this thread about Ward?
