It is comical that someone at age 32 with a 51-3 mark with 45 knockouts (and only 4 of the 6 non knockouts went the distance) and a 12-2 title fight record and someone who at 32 has been near the top of the division for 9 years already would be labeled....unimpressive. Give me a break with that nonsense. Facts don't lie.

Good post, I'm a Wlad fan and there are times where he plays behind the jab too much but he's still the best Heavyweight now with nobody being able to beat him now and he is one of the few guys who have 1 punch knockout power.

Oscar controls the Ring rankings or he himself wouldn't be on them!

Oh, and Wladimir already beat the drum known as Peter. :yep

Well said. These guys need to stop with the **** about Wladimir not being gangsta enough or disrespecting other fighters like Haye & Peter.

:rofl ludacris. he has KTFO 5 of his last 6 opponents. 6 of his last 7 have been top 10 according to the Ring. Not to mention his last 2 opponents were awkward southpaws with a combined 53-1 record... wlad probably lost 3 or 4 rounds out of 23. he's just squeaking by :rofl :rofl :rofl

now u got lunatics claiming tubs like arreola have a shot.....ahahahah

Unlike Iggy and Thompson, Povetkin has a very conventional style and will get railroaded by Wlad and i would make a lifetime ban bet with anyone on here to back it up :deal

Define mediocre? Is it mediocre to have a 90% KO ratio? How about 51 wins in 54 fights?

That's not my definition of mediocre.................

I swear Wlad could KO Peter, Haye, Arreola, Valuev, Chagaev & Ruiz and still these people will say he needs to do this or that before they accept him as the champion.

the hate is just ming boggling. nothing he can do will please these luncatics.

and i dont buy "his style is boring" argument. cause when he stops a guy quickly or decisively, they are all bums. the haters always got an excuse ready

Wlad is the true champion, he proved enough to deserve that distinction. I feel there's other Heavyweights out there that have a decent to good chance of beating Wlad, but in any of those match-ups he would have to be the favorite.
