with 17 sec. in the fight Bute was starting his decent... damn he was lucky to be able to stay on his feet... librado hit him with 39 power punches in the round half of witch in the last 50 sec.

I think also that the ref could have stopped the fight easy!

Bute's trainer talked about this after the second Andrade fight.

Seeing as how Bute showed top notch stamina versus the rough and tumble Bika, I tend to think his stamina problems against Andrade in the first fight were not indicative of his overall conditioning.

Also, as far as his chin is concerned he took some decent shots against Berrio who is an exceptionally hard puncher.

I am a huge ute supporter. I was not aware of Bute's condition and f true it probably had some effect on the fight. And I am sold on him and Ward being by far teh class of the division. That being said I've never been too high on his durability in general. He reminds me of a Steve Molitor type fighter that is almost too cute for there own good. They spend too much time trying to weave out of the way of shots and into good counter punching positions that when they take a shot themselves they can't tollarate too much punishment. Or all there waving around makes them more likely too be in a vulnerable position.

If you could get a very good counter puncher or a stick and move type fighter I think he'd be in some ****.

Andrade knocked him out. There is no "maybe yes maybe no" when discussing whether he should have got the win. The record books reflect a poor refereeing job. Bute's food poisoning, I couldn't give a **** about, I like the man's fights.

You left out the most obvious option. Bute was KTFO 'n Andrade was jobbed.

Doesn't make Bute a WORSE fighter. It can happen to the best on any given night. Clearly, he's sucked-it-up 'n back with a vengeance.

TBH, that sounds to me like Pavlik suffering from bronchitis so the Hopkins defeat doesn't count, only that bronchitis is actually a lot worse on a sporting sense.

Anyway, what pissed me off about that fight was the judge who seemed willing to give Bute all the time in the world to get up. He beat the count IMO, but it was biased refereeing at its finest, could have had a nap on the canvas and still win the fight.

The thing with Bute, he's a power puncher masquerading as a boxer. Not saying the he can't box, but his true strength lies in his power. Which is fine, but when facing the elite crop, I think he'll really come up short. Ward's a better boxer than Bute. Ward's a better athlete than Bute. Bute has a lot more power than Ward, but Ward.. really isn't one to stand in and take punches as he's always moving.

At least he didn't blame his socks but, in this article, it was close.

I preferred when his official statement was that Andrade I inspired him to become an elite fighter, get more serious about training, and learn everything he can from each bout.

No doubt, the ref should have stopped the fight, we all have witnessed stoppage for far less.

But anyway we look at it, the controversy have nothing to do with Bute, I mean, they guy was out on his feet but he showed REAL desire to fight on and to win, this, added with skills, power and crowd pleasing style...I don't understand why so many so called ''boxing fans'' bash on him at every corner.

Where is the box for Bute got clipped in the 12th and hurt badly?

You don't have to put in anything about the controversy, but at least offer the facts.
