As a Mundine fan I'd like to say BULL****....

but I have to face the facts and they are that the super middleweight division has been crap for a long time.

In fact that's why Mundine choose super middle instead of middle, because the heavier division was easier to get a title shot!!!

Calzaghe's opposition has been rat**** for a decade compared to other long time champions and that's a fact!!!

I thought the same until I actually saw Calzaghe's record on boxrec.com. Check it out - many of his "lesser" opponents actually were reasonably good when you campare them to what most champions face. But being in a division like SMW meant that most of them were relatively onnkown as the media hadn't given them any exposure. Interestingly, the opponents that Calzaghe dispached most easily were the "name" US opponents like Lacy and Mitchell.
