Brook dosn't have that much movement compared to Bud, nor DJ who went on to take GGG to the brink of defeat.

Spence was getting out-boxed before that injury, you're fooling nobody here.

Well... I disagree... It was a competetive first half very close very even (nobody was getting outboxed??) Then Spence took control, Brook constantly on the backfoot getting hit with Big shots.
I suggest you watch the fight again...

Spence broke Brook down that was his game plan going in and it was easy to see. It was the early body work that slowed Brook down that allowed him to tee off on that eye and get the stoppage.:deal:

nobody beats spence at 147, and what do you mean he has to plant his feet to be effective, when have you seen him not be effective? and owned? spence has ploughed through everyone so far and hardly broken a sweat. crawford gets manhandled by him and thurman gets on his bike and peddles for all hes worth... if he ever finds the stones to get in the ring with him.

Well we dont know what we`ll get in Crawford at WW as none of us have seen him yet but he seems to get better the more he fills out. I just dont want to automatically assume that Crawford is too small for anyone at WW until we see him in there. Now skill wise which is something we can judge him on i just see him as far superior to any of the top guys in the division right now.

As far as Spence i love the kid, i mean who doesnt if theyre being honest. The thing is that im not going to annoint him the next great anything until i see him in with a live dog and now that i have some of the things that i didnt like and had suspicions about showed up against the average but solid Brook. Brook who throws his punches with very little body behind them was catching Spence most of the night with the right hand and doing so pretty easily. The very few times he showed some movement he left Spence swinging at air and off balance. There was a moment in the fight where Brook pivoted to Spences left leaving Spence wide open for what couldve been a brutal counter but Brook simply moved away without capitalizing. Those are just two quick things among a few things that i just didnt like and i believe could be exposed against guys like Thurman and Crawford.

People have been going on and on about how he`ll destroy Thurman but i just dont see it. Thurman can crack when he decides to commit and hes pretty good on his toes. Sure Thurman could get beat but hes going to give Spence all he could handle regardless of the outcome. This of course depends on Thurmans health which seems to be something that could effect his career negatively if it continues.

Its funny cause a lot of ppl (wrongly) said the same thing about Pac. Spence hasnt had the chance to showcase all the dimensions to his game. His style worked fine against Brook there was no need to adapt as he knew he was wearing him down.

Crawford deserved everything he gotten including being call "Undisputed champ at 140" but here the thing, he going to have a hard time fighting those boys at 147.

Everybody is already saying that Crawford would beat everyone at 147.

Let make 1 thing clear - Spence, Thurman, Brook, Garcia, Porter, Pacquiao, Vargas, Peterson, Ponomarev, and Ali are all better than Crawford best opponent and are operating at the highest level at 147.

He's not going to just walk in at 147 and steamroll these guys. He may beat some of them but I can't see him beating them all.

The only bet I would take is with Spence....I think Spence walks Crawford down and washes him.

Spence/Thurman would be closer than many would like to believe. I lean Spence on that one. However I think Crawford has a harder time beating Thurman than Spence.

Spence is overrated, I think Crawford would beat him and I would pick Thurman to beat his as well...............I think Porter would beat him............

I don't know, a lot of folks were talking up Brook as the best at WW for a little while going in.

Spence was the betting favorite but Brook was a huge keyboard warrior favorite.

Can't have it both ways; rate Brook crazy high and pick him to win, yet downplay Spence after.

Spence seems the goods. But I do agree with his foot planting generating his power and explosiveness. Not sure if movement kills him though, as stated. I think it would have to be a highly skilled boxer who brings more to the table than just movement.
