Agree with above. He was up on all cards upto the injury in round 6.

On the middle to long range brook was dominant and I can't see how Spence beat Crawford as Crawford is the most skilled fighter on the planet.

 

Spence is fundamentally sound (good feet positioning, excellent body work, knows how to cut off the ring, etc) and never break from the fundamentals even when things aren't going well.

Personally I think Brook beats Crawford...Brook is not a bum. In round 2 against GGG, he was timing and tagging GGG until GGG broke his orbital eye socket.

Brook was beating Spence but Spence never broke from the fundamentals and finally broke Brook will (and his other orbital eye socket). Spence gave Floyd a black eye, made Broner cry (Broner sucks now but still) and went tit for tat with 154 lb Jermell Charlo in sparring.

Spence batters Crawford, Brook beats Crawford....everyone else at 147, I feel like Bud beats.

 

I said before he makes me think of what Nigel Benn may have looked like if he wasn't so gung ho and tried to break people down a little bit more methodically.

Anyway you're not going to hear me complaining about a heavy hitting banger bringing the heat. If anything guys like Spence need to be rewarded for actually providing in ring entertainment rather than relying on outside antics to generate interest.

 

The truth is he's a a legit very good fighter.
