So you mean he beat the count, and the ref's longcount didn't influence anything at all :good

Who cares, he's fighting a tough fight now so it's time to give the man some props (although we can revisit this if he's KO'd by Froch :deal)

Not to take anything away from Bute but he lost this fight, shameful referee should be banned from boxing for ever! Even with this loss he would be where he is now, 0 is overrated, and i believe he would came back from this loss even stronger.
Anyone trying to defend this shameful "win" is delusional idiot, one thing i hate the most is when someone works hard and idiot referee or judges **** on boxers hard work!!!

I never got why people say he lost. He got up in time, and it doesn't matter if the referee pulls a million count out of his ass after that because the fight was already over.
The referee sucked but didn't influence the outcome and Bute got lucky, nothing more, nothing less.

It's about the rules that were in place at the time.
There have been boxers who got KO'd and were lucky because of the "can be saved by the bell" rule, and nobody complained because that were the rules in place.

While the ending was a problem, I actually had a bigger problem in the fight with the ref refusing to warn Bute for holding until the end of the fight.

Bute clearly starts constantly holding in that fight around the 6th round and for the remainder of the fight.

The reason Andrade finally catches up to Bute in the 12th round is because that is when the ref finally starts warning him about holding. If the ref starts properly warning Bute around the 6th round, Andrade knocks him out a lot sooner.

Bute got a 20 count. I don't see the problem.

    :huh

Lennox got up againt Mccall, Taylor against JCC but fights were stopped!
Referee waited for a round to end not giving Andrade a chance to finish him and thats fair for you???

Counted until Bute was up, then let the fight go on - or if Bute is in no condition to fight on, STOP THE FIGHT!

Not kill as much time as possible so that Andrade can't get to Bute before the bell goes
