As a real fan of Margarito and Williams I must first say that Williams deserves congrats for the biggest win of his career and his arrival on the big stage.

Second, to you scumbags who somehow saw that very entertaining fight and say Margarito "sucks" - you aresimply blind Fraud Groupies who will never understand what it means to display courage and toughness.

Sure, Margarito lost the boxing match on points, but he won the fight -
He was the one who delivered the beating, PW took it and showed he was willing to take the beating in order to get the win. . . this is why I believe FMJ would not take the fight - he does not have the courage to take the beating in order to get the win - PW is alot taller/bigger than AM, but AM walked through his punches and had him running a couple of rounds and holding alot cause he felt the power.

I had the fight even going into the last round, and after the punishement he took in the 11th, PW showed alot of heart in winning the last round . . . thus winning the belt.

How much more entertaining was this fight than the lackluster FMJ-DLH fraud of a superfight? Real boxing fans want to see both PW and AM in more big fights.

Somewhere Fraud is sitting back and smiling, but what he and his scumbag fans should realize is that this does not change the fact that he clearly ducked AM last year and already proved his own cawordice. . . .thats a done deal.

Well Margarito's courage and toughness looked more like fatigue .His problem is that he's a slow starter ..I'm sure that if the fight was 20 rds it be allot closer ..I will agree though this fight was 100 times better than DLH/Mayweather ..Thats how you come to fight like Williams bring it to the champ !

No what morons like you dont understnad is this Arum and Margo took a page out of some of the European promoters handsbook on how to promote. They played things up i the media. The so-called offers to Floyd and shane were not legit, and the media types while hype this fight failed to really tell one that. But should one go back, to say the Judah Floyd fight one would know that it was Floyd that offer Tony a REAL date for a REAL fight. That crap that Arum did was offer floyd what was a bs offer knowing damn well that he was done to fight Oscar. The part that really showed that Arum was full of sh*t was when Winky said that he would fight Tony for 5 million and Arum said Tony isnt a middleweight, or what about the fight that was offered him with Ouma??? you see Tony was a ducked fighter it was other things at play timing was bad, and really Arum was wanting to save Tony for Cotto, which is the reason that he tried with all his power to stop the Williams fights.

Also, dont forget Williams had to throw 1200 punches to keep Margo off him and it almost didnt work!

Wrong again Fraud Groupie. . . .Fraud didnt duck AM for a fight with DLH - (not even I could fault him for that) - He ducked AM for a fight with Spinks, when that fell through he settled for Baldy.

he was the aggressor because he was moving forward and throwing the hard punches, PW's punches were not hard - just designed to keep AM off of him - it worked enough to get the decision, props to him. But to try to say AM was not the agressor is just wrong.

PW admitted AM hurt him. :patsch

To be honest....neither man looked like they were in a fight as brutal as the one they were actually in together....aside from a few burises on Margo's face and the Cut on Williams, neither man were really marked.

Williams won a competitive fight but Margo gave him some fits towards the end of the fight. The right man won however I feel for Margo b/c Paul was also a fighter that not many wanted and this was really Antonio's only option. No one else wanted a peice of him but Williams showed he is fearless like Margo has been showing as the former WBO champion. BOTH MEN will be avoided especially after their preformance over the weekend.

And I'm not sure how you could have the fight even going in to the last round. Margo won 4 rounds....5 at the VERY MOST (That's on the generous side). I will say Antonio dealt more damage with less punches but Paul completey out worked and controled the entire fight for the most part with his offensive onslaught.

Margo is just a "tough as Nails" type of man.....Paul's nick name would have lived up to the hype had it been anther guy in there that wasn't as tough. I still say Paul is punishing.....its just hard to prove with a guy who has a granite chin and smiles a clean shots.

I could see those scores too, I scored the fight the same as the two judges and Merchant - probably due to the solid body work by AM. . . but either way we agree on the winner.

Uh, where did anyone say he didnt lose?

Oh I get it, youre mad cause AM can lose his next ten fights and it has nothing to do with the fact that your hero is a yellow belly coward. :good

Maybe if AM had lost to a journeyman like Baldy, he could get a fight with Floyd - since thats how Zab got his. :patsch

That journeyman you're referring to happened to be the linear champ at 147 and his two wins over Gatti and Zab are better than anything on Margo's resume.:deal
