Mayweather has not sealed his place as an ATG at all. There are more than a few recongnized personalities in the boxing business who doubt this inlcuding Doug Fischer and Emanuel Steward.

In order to seal his legacy, PBF must come back. Man, there are just so many challenges out there meaning: Cotto, Mosley Pacquaio, Williams, Maragarito. The guy is only 31 and could do so much more ....

Then you state that coming out of retiremnent would be risky. The terms ATG and risky do not go together.
Was it risky for Duran to fight Barkley at middleweight?Was it risky for Hearns to fight Hill at lightheavyweight?

 

Well, Mosley is not in his prime anymore but he is still very good. This would be similar to Toney beating McCallum.

The mosley win would be the most impressive on PBF resume and he would convimce a lot of his sceptics..

But, some folks here suggest that PBF should stay retired because it is "more safe" and "less risky". Well be aware that ATG from another area would never have acted in this manner.
