Right so Augie Sanchez was a step up in class?

you must not have watched boxing long enough, if a fighter has abonded his skills and is relying on a home run shot to win the fight, then hes looking to get beat sooner or later.

Hamed is wrong for both Marquez and Pacqiauo stylewise, hes also one of the hardest hitting featherwieghts of all time, the whole reason MAB beat him is because he changed his style and turned counter puncher in this fight, he kept a tight guard and was weary of Hameds power throughout. Neithe Pac man nor Marquez fight like that, they leave themselves open and a guy like Hamed only needs a small window of oppurtunity

Nah, Naz was good and all, but he wouldn't have beaten Barrera even at "his best".

An ill prepared Naz lost by 3 points to a superbly well prepared Barrera. This is not an excuse as it is all Naseems fault for being lazy and whatnot but likewise people who claimed the prince performed his best against barrera are deluded.. it was a far cry from the houngry younger naseem and it was clear for everyone to see.

its not farfetched to hold the opinion that a motivated primr naseem could defeat barrera

:lol:Logical question for you,but then again, that might be asking too much:but if a featherweight would knock out both PAC and JMM at 126,he wouldn't be considered an ATG:lol::lol:?And write the blueprint on how he knocks both of them out.:lol:I can't wait to read that.

:lol:You're very silly.MAB was the step up in class that I was referring to.Hamed is tailor made for a smart counterpuncher with terrific technical skills like JMM,as Hamed is technically deficient, which he showed throughout his career. You must have not watched boxing or your hero long enough if you can't see that.Pac would have beaten him just as easily as MAB,if not easier. There is not ONE OPPONENT that Hamed beat in his career,or NOT ONE HAMED PERFORMANCE that indicates he would have beaten Pac or Marquez.NOT ****ING ONE:lol:.MAB didn't just change his style overnight.Just look at the Salud fight. But why should facts get in the way?MAB fought a technically smart and fundamentally sound fight, which is absolute kryptonite to an off balance, technically unsound fighter like your hero.
Simply put,the best fighter hamed ever fought embarrassed him,he fought once more and then quit, probably due to the fact that he never would have beaten an elite, which he more than likely realized.

Lol,these links don't prove what you wrote.Even Merchant said Morales and MAB needed time to recuperate after their bout(how appropriate that hamed tried to rush THEM into a fight,as he did the same to JMM),but that MAB probably would be fighting Hamed in the next year, which is what happened anyway.Merchant also predicted that Morales would probably be next for Hamed after Barrera.Lol,shame on HBO Larry for figuring HBO boy Hamed was going to get past MAB.We all know that Hamed avoided JMM for at least 1 1/2 years while Marquez was a top contender in the WBO,but when Hamed finally challenged Marquez,JMM was expected by Hamed to get ready in a ridiculously short amount of time.Hamed was NEVER serious about fighting JMM.Btw,Marquez is still angry at Hamed for that one.But what's really funny is that is your claim that JMM ducked Hamed even though he's already fought Manny Pac TWICE and is about to do so again.

Hamed was most certainly not 'past his best' when he fought Barrera. It was just a case of when he met an elite pound 4 pound fighter he got completely monstered; Barrera capitalizing on the flaws that had always been present throughout Hamed's career to beat him to the punch time after time. Hamed knew he had reached his ceiling and there was no point fighting again after a brilliantly orchestrated career had left him wealthy beyond the heights he reached.

If you've seen the fight, then you know that MAB embarrassed Hamed.Watch it again. It simply was not a 3 point fight. Are you sure you want to put that down on record?I haven't seen the fight in awhile, but last time I saw it,I scored it 10-2 minus a point for the slamming of the head on the ringpost.Btw,did MAB really say,"Who's your daddy,now?":lol:

The excuses for Hamed is more impressive than the actual fighter.

He "monstered" him, 8 rounds to 4 and never had Hamed down or in trouble.

    I think you're exaggerating just a touch.

I had it 10-2 roundwise minus a point for the battering of the head against the post. And despite the fact that hamed landed a couple of bombs in the fight,Barrera barely blinked.Plus,he completely embarrassed Hamed by exposing Hamed's massive, massive technical deficiencies.Throughout the latter parts of the fight,I was laughing at how amateurish Barrera was making him look.Still am:lol:.

:goodPerfectly put truth that is undeniable.Someone should put a thread up about how many excuses that his supporters make for just that one loss.I believe I counted 8 in the last monthly Hamed thread.
