Pacman is an awesome fighter. Hand speed, power, heart and determination. However, as all boxing fans know, styles make fights. The last three opponents that Pac beat were all seriously flawed. And their styles were perfect for Pac to beat. We all know about the old and drained De La Hoya, and the undisciplined (lead with my head Hatton). So, lets break down Miguel Cotto. Cotto is a good (almost great fighter) however, if you look at Cotto's fights he gets hit cleanly a lot. He was buzzed by Ricardo Torres, buzzed by Zab Judah, Buzzed by Shane Mosley (no shame in that) buzzed by Demarcus Corley, smashed up by Joshua Clottey, and brutally tko'd by Margarito (hand wraps notwithstanding). The point of all this is that these fighters were perfectly matched (stylistically) for Pacman. Mayweather on the other hand is of a different style. He doesn't get hit cleanly very often, it's almost impossible to put combinations together against him, he has more functional speed and boxing intelligence than Pacman (functional speed as I see it, is blocking and countering speed). This in my view is a stylistic nightmare for Pac-man, and I think his team knows this. Mayweather, is a defensive minded, crisp counter puncher. As we all know, Manny Pacman has trouble with crisp counter punchers (Juan Manuel Marquez). How is he going to do against a bigger, faster, stronger more athletic version of Juan Manuel Marquez? The bottom line, Mayweathers style is a nightmare for Pac mans style, but Pac-Mans straight ahead buzzsaw style is perfect for Mayweathers crisp defensive style. That's how I see it. Pac added a new tinge of something to the cotto fight, his style still had that in your face flurry but it is by far more calculated. Perhaps with the help of Roach he can develop a new twist to handle Floyd. As of now, speculation puts Floyd at an advantage.

I think it'd be some bullying style from a big guy tht'd give FLoyd huge problems. Floyd style works so perfect for him because of that huge reach he has to others his height.
