Im sorry it is true the man is a convicted ****** and if it was anyone else you would despise them for it, its a disgusting crime. If it was your family or a freind on the reciving would you say its ok cause it was mike tyson.

The problem, as usual, comes from the press. They talk about every "semi-new" things they can hear about the negotiation.

12:13 -Hatton just farted and asked for 50-50
12:14 -The fight is off...
12:17 -Pacquiao, while eating a donut, said he would agree to 52-48.
and so on...

ANd between those great "updates" there's hundreds of new threads saying that one is greedy, that one beat nobody so he does'nt deserve 50%..blabla

 

You really do have a deep-rooted, psychological problem with Hatton.

Fair point. But then again, NOBODY outside the very hardcore over here knew of Mayweather prior to their fight. I myself highly doubt that over half of the audience were watching because it was him! Which some of the stupidly low figures (some idiot who keeps quoting the 50,000 which he himself made up on another thread) being suggested would imply.

 

I have no problem with Hatton. I just call it like I see it.

 

Being known is different from being popular though. I would agree that EVERYONE world wide knows who Tyson is. The topic at hand here, though, is how many of them (in the UK) would pay to watch him at 4am (i.e. how many of the 700,000 only watched because Bruno was fighting him).

Buggered if I know the answer to be honest.

 

What are talking about? I haven't made many posts at all regarding Hatton's popularity.

You've met him to judge that have you? Cos I don't know anyone who has that has a bad word to say about him (Junior Witter doesn't count). Especially not the poorly little kid he brings to all of his bouts as his mascot!

 

fidds, I am from the uk and enjoy my boxing but mate even people I come nito contact with who dont really watch boxing know who tyson is and if i mention Hatton they havent a clue. The thing I see with many Hatton fans before the Mayweather fight is that they would say Ricky was gunna knock out Floyd. When I asked them if they has ever wacthed Floyd fight they replied NO.

Thats the problem i have with most hatton fans. They are too biased. Manny is p4p#1 and deserves the majority share because he will get the PPV's in the UK and the US and people from Asia adore him. He is more skilled and more exciting to watch. As a brit I support him more than Hatton because he is the best boxer to watch right now. If hatton is fighting another bum then I aint payin to watch that.

Only if he fights PAC-MAN will I pay to watch so I believe he deserves the greater share. He also does alot of charity work of which hatton does nothing. Manny should get more moeny as he gives alot more away to help the people of his country. Hatton spends it down the pub which I dont respect him for.

I regretted the day i stayed up to watch the Hatton Mallignagi fight as it was so boring. I have heard that Hatton did 200,000 buys in the UK less than the pac-man diaz fight. If hatton aint fighting no1 good then he is in **** fights. He hasnt got the style that is that entertaining. How any1 can say paulie was number 2 in the divison is utter bollocks.
