I desagree. IMO, it was a good move to pull out the Taylor fight. Taylor was coming off two controversial wins over Hopkins and a controversial draw against Winky. Mora doesn't have the power to KO Taylor (and he knows that) and doesn't have the skills to win 9 or more rounds against Taylor and get the decision on Taylor's hometown. Also, Mora is too small for a MW. He fits much better at LMW. Mora knows he is a limited fighter and doesn't have KO power. When he has his opponent in trouble (like when he stunned Forrest twice), he just scores landind his punches. He doesn't look for the KO. IMO, Mora will fight Pavlik just to get a big payday.
dont be surprised though if mora pulls a spinks when spinks fought taylor. I expect him to go into sruvival mode the whole bout making it very unpleasent.
This is one of the plans Arum had floated early on. Things keep changing but some of it has remained constant. Like Abraham in January 09. I'm not sure which is better for Abrham at this point. US exposure or bigger bucks figting in Germany?
