    this is such a bogus argument and im sick of hearing it. 300,000+ ppv which is GUARANTEED anytime hopkins fights vs 50,000.

    Dawson is just another over hyped yank like Lacy.

    Its Hopkins or Pavlik Taylor winner, Joe will wait all year if he has to.

    You cannot compare Dawson with Lacy, in my opinion, whether you think they are overhyped or not. Dawson is very versatile and a great boxer whereas Lacy was fairly limited.

    Jesus christ WHY are people mentioning chad dawson as a possible fight to Joe Calzaghe.

    He's not even the man in his own division, hasnt fought any A-class fighters.

    I bet Calzaghe doesnt even know who he is. This fight will never be on the cards.

    Dawson's got to win at least 1 bigger fight before he's even going to be on Joe's radar. If he can't bring the $$, big name, and the skill (I think he's got the 3rd one down) to the table, there's no chance it'll happen.
