    Then why was Lsiton accussed of cehating with ointment agianst MAchen, Foley, Williams and Ali?

    I think you are believing in a myth. Liston was good, but the best jab in history?

    Apart from the Ali incident, which Angelo Dundee has written he believes was something they were rubbing on Liston's injured shoulder, I've only ever heard Bert Sugar make the accusation and he's far more interested in a yarn than in facts.
    Yes, imo Liston had the best jab in the history of (filmed) boxing.
