THE TRUTH: Vitali Klitschko vs Lennox Lewis

Nobody blames Lennox for retiring and hanging up his gloves.

But the way Lennox had Vitali jump through hoops (getting doctors permissions, medical testing etc.) for about 12 months and then retiring THE DAY BEFORE GETTING STRIPPED was ultra lame.

Lennox pissed on his own legacy and on us boxing fans. The last 12 months of his reign as a champ were pitiful and a shame.

The truth is, Lewis also took the fight on 10 days notice.

The cut was caused by Lewis's punches.

Lewis was coming back into the fight despite being exhausted, his best round happened to be the last round.

Lewis was out of shape and was old, you want to argue?
Look at the facts!
When had Lennox looked so soft pyschically?
When did Lennox ever look tired after just a couple of rounds? (South Africa, Rahman 1).

Say what you want but the fact is Lewis won, and the result is what counts.

 

Lewis said on air he would re-match, and told the press he would re-match. He had an 18 million dollar offer, ran his mouth about Vitali, then retired.:deal

lol nothing contraversial about punching several deep gashes into someones face. the only thing contraversial in this fight is that they didn't stop it at the end of round 5 and let Vitali fight with a sight threatening injury (caused by lewis punch)
