    THE TRUTH you say...

    It maybe a harsh judgement. Vitali had his chances but just couldn't do it, particularily in the second round where he hurt Lewis. Thereafter he took far too much heavy leather himself, punches that he couldn't get out of the way of.
    That is why he lost....he just wasn't quite good enough to take out a sloppy, aging champion when he had him hurt or skilled enough in defence to make Lewis miss with his right.

    Even though he is a great dominant champion now, this will always hurt him and his fans in an era now where Vitali has no real opposition. It was a great fight, Lennox retired, no blame in doing that. He gave Vitali his shot but the elder Klitschko just came up short.

    Apart from Lewis pulled through to get the win, whereas Vitali quit when the going got tough vs Byrd.
