Lewis was brutalizing him like never, no one did after him. Vitali's face was a mess and that was not due to accidental clashes - Lennox was having a lot of trouble getting inside the punching zone without getting tagged by a scoring jab or a lead left hook but he was able to go through it and land solid, telling blows more and more. Let's face it, numbers would never tell the rest of the tale since the fight would be stopped sooner or later due to the cuts. Vitali may have had 10 days but Lewis was not prepared to face a 6'7'' tall man either in spite of Kirk Johnson.
